Immunization Schedule
Chartered Health Plan encourages parents to make sure their child has regular check-ups and that all
immunizations are up-to-date. Making sure that your child is healthy and properly immunized is a way to
protect them from preventable and possibly life-threatening diseases. The 2008 Immunization Schedule is
available for your reference. The schedule covers ages 0-6 (Childhood) and 7-18 (Adolescent). A Catch-up
Schedule is also included. Changes in 2008 include a dose of pneumoccocal conjugate vaccine for healthy
children ages 24-59 months who are completely immunized, increased age ranges for influenza vaccine,
and preference for MCV4 over MPSV4 in high-risk children ages 2-10.
